ARTICLE SUBMISSION

Would you like to submit an article to Iron Kiwi so that others can read it online? If so, there are a few things you need to know, the first one being that there is zero financial returns -- this site is a labour of love, something I do in my spare time and for which I receive no financial reward. Will it always be like this? I have no idea. I'll let you know if that ever changes but until such a time, the site stays as is (NOTE: the term Iron Kiwi is interchangeable with www.ironkiwi.nz here).

GUIDE LINES FOR ARTICLE SUBMISSION

• All articles must be around 500-words give or take, with a title and a high level of spelling, grammar and punctuation;

• Where editing and/or correction of spelling, grammar or punctuation is required, Iron Kiwi reserves the right to perform said edit without A) informing the author(s) whilst B) striving to keep the intent of the article intact; the author(s) accept this unequivocally;

• Articles submitted to Iron Kiwi for reproduction on the site are not, and cannot be, the property of Iron Kiwi but belong solely to the author(s) from which they originated. This applies to ALL articles whether they are accepted or rejected;

• Whether accepted or rejected, the author(s) shall be informed as soon as is conveniently possible by Iron Kiwi via the email address from which said article arrived; should said email address no longer function, Iron Kiwi will be released from informing the author; if the article in this scenario is accepted it will still be reproduced on the site;

• Rejected articles WILL BE DELETED, not returned, from the Iron Kiwi inbox; debate will not be entered into regarding the reasons for said rejection;

• Should the author(s) of any article reproduced on the site request their article to be removed, Iron Kiwi will remove said article as soon as is conveniently possible; Iron Kiwi will not retain any copies of said article nor reproduce it elsewhere in any format whatsoever;

• Under absolutely no circumstances will Iron Kiwi pass your email address onto third parties in fact, we strongly suggest creating another email address to use and not your main account, simply for you own peace of mind;

• Lastly, Iron Kiwi cannot guarantee other online sites, site-owners, users or visitors to www.ironkiwi.nz will not copy, use, appropriate or reproduce your article(s) as this is out of our control.

The above is necessary so you know where you stand and there's no surprises -- obviously this protects us both (see below for protecting your own works further). If you're still interested in sending in an article, if you have something to say that relates to the site's focus, I'd love to hear from you. You don't need to be an expert or a coach, just someone with informative things to say based on your own experience. Get writing and use the email address on the contact page to send.

PROTECTING YOUR MATERIAL IN THE DIGITAL AGE

Protect your article by putting your full name, date and the of course the copyright symbol © on it and then email it to yourself before you email it anyone else -- having it arrive in your own email box first, even as little as five minutes before it arrives in anyone else's inbox, is legal proof that said article originated from you. Don't delete the email containing your article from the "sent" box either as this acts as further proof of ownership (you can always upload to the cloud too).
